Thank you for your interest in our critical work of strengthening local food systems and empowering people to grow, prepare, eat and preserve their own foods. For almost 20 years, Food Works has been a driving force in creating community food security in Central Vermont by making a difference in people's lives and empowering them to take control of the food they eat. During this time, we have never swayed from our unique position as a grassroots organization that develops community-based approaches to address the growing concerns of poor nutrition, diet, health, land use, and declining food security - and mobilizes people to effect positive change for themselves and their neighbors.
